We are providing our services with a blended approach- face to face, online and/or by phone to suit the different needs of the local women.

Mondays 9.30 to 10.30

*suitable for women who are in need of mental health, social and wellbeing support

Relaxing yoga and meditation activities in a multicultural bookshop setting

Tuesdays 10.15 to 11.15*
starting from 9 February

Healthy Lifestyle    
at Fairfield Women’s Health Service
*suitable for women who are at risk of developing chronic health conditions

*Classes will run from 10.15 -11.15 am on Weeks 1, 3, 5, 7 which consists of a dietitian talk followed by Zumba (Zoom option for dietitian’s talk– link sent closer to the date)
Classes in Weeks 2,4,6 will be Zumba only from 10.45 am – 11.15 am. 

Alternating Wednesdays 10.00 to 11.30 starting from 27 January
Vietnamese Cultural Group
at Fairfield Women’s Health Service
*suitable for women from Vietnamese background  to improve their health & wellbeing

Informal group session with Vietnamese and English speaking worker (Lianne) for:
· Information sharing
· Social support
· Health and wellbeing education including mental health
· Relaxation activities- meditation, breathing and gentle exercise
· Select guest speakers

Starting from Thursday 4 February*
Mindfulness Through Creativity & Breath

*suitable for women who are in need of mental health, social and wellbeing support

Meditate and develop a series of collaborative artworks. Be part of the installation at Fairfield City Museum & Gallery for World Meditation Day 2021, and screening at Fairfield Plaza from March 2021. 

Session 1:  11.00 am to 12.30 pm on Thursday (4 February 2021) at Fairfield Women’s Health Service
Sessions 2-4:  10.30 am to 12.00pm on Tuesdays (9, 16 and 23 February) at The Fairfield City Museum & Gallery

Fridays 1.30 to 3.00
starting from 26 February

Social Media Club
at Fairfield Women’s Health Service

*suitable for women who are interested to learn about social media to stay socially connected and to access services; for different levels of abilities

Learn how to confidently use social media platforms such as Facebook and Zoom in a casual setting.
